I made the mistake of signing-up for United Concordia. My wife had a simple dental procedure, and you could hear a sign when we told our dentist that we had UC.

It is bad enough that they denied the claim, it is that they dragged the process out for months. It was exhausting. The dentist kept meeting UC's demands in providing additional information. Some people on the phone were more polite than others.

Ultimately, they did not pay a dime. It seems like their claim processing is like something out of "The Rainmaker". Their web site is also spotty.

Everything with this company is difficult. Dropping their coverage felt great.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: b/c you on-line service does not work from overseas, allow me to e-mail copy of dentist bill rather than put ME through addional pain of filling out and mailing you 1960's forms.
